HISTORICAL NOTE: This was the first YAOS production at the newly-built Johnson Hall, named after our YAOS President Mr Keith B Johnson, being a major benefactor and driving force behind the project to build the new Civic Hall & Theatre. This occasion also marked the resignation by Keith Johnson as YAOS President, having at last realised his long-held ambition of enabling YAOS to perform on a full-size theatre stage. YAOS also marked the occasion by reverting to its previous title 'Yeovil Amateur Operatic Society'. YAOS remains indebted to Keith Johnson for his ambition and foresight, which was a pivotal turning point in the Society's development.
